В записи нового альбома Брайана Ферри "Olympia" приняли участие бас-гитарист Red Hot Chili Peppers Фли (Flea) и гитарист Radiohead Джонни Гринвуд (Jonny Greenwood). Об этом сообщается в пресс-релизе, размещенном на сайте музыканта.

Кроме того, над пластинкой поработали Дэвид Гилмор, джазовый музыкант Маркус Миллер, продюсер Найл Роджерс (Chic) и Mani (The Stone Roses, Primal Scream). Ферри также записал по одной песне с Scissors Sisters и Groove Armada (треки "Heartache by Numbers" и "Shameless" соответственно).

Альбом Ферри также станет первой за почти 30 лет записью, над которой совместно поработали участники оригинального состава Roxy Music - Фил Манзанера, Энди Макэй и Брайан Ино. Напомним, что Ино покинул группу в 1973 году, после записи альбома "For Your Pleasure".

Альбом "Olympia" будет содержать десять композиций. Релиз пластинки назначен на 25 октября. Первый сингл "You Can Dance" будет выпущен 2 августа. Предыдущий сольный альбом Ферри, вышедший в 2007 году диск "Dilanesque", содержал 11 каверов на песни Боба Дилана.
